【終了しました】伝統の行事 2024『月見の会』開催のお知らせ　“Tsukimi-no-kai” Moon Viewing Festival

江戸時代から続く伝統行事『月見の会』は、深まりゆく秋の夜に月を観賞しながら、その風情をお楽しみいただきます。『月見の会』の開催期間中は開園時間を21時まで延長し、行灯やぼんぼりに照らされた幻想的な夜の庭園をご覧いただけます。

　This is a festival where people display silver grasses, offer dango (rice dumplings) to the moon, and enjoy looking at the most beautiful Jugoya moon on August 15th of the lunar calendar. Jugoya is also known as “Harvest Moon”. In the Edo period (1603-1868), it became popular as a festival to pray and express gratitude for a good harvest.
During the event period, the park's opening hours will be extended until 9:00 pm, allowing you to view the magical night garden illuminated by Andon and paper lanterns.

１．日　時　 令和6年9月16日（月・祝）～ 9月18日（水）
　　　　　　　9時～21時（最終入園は20時30分）
　　　　　　　上記期間中、60歳以上の方の入園は無料です
 
２．内　容
（１）お供え式
　日　　時：9月16日（月・祝）17時～17時30分　※雨天中止
　場　　所：萩のトンネル近くの藤棚前
　内　　容：団子や野菜のお供えと篠笛の演奏を行います
　演 奏 者：坂本真理（さかもとまり）氏（横笛奏者）
 
（２）箏（そう）の演奏
　日　　時：期間中毎日　18時～20時　※雨天中止
　場　　所：藤棚または売店前四阿（あずまや）
　内　　容：地元の箏奏者の団体による演奏を披露致します
　協　　力：栗田社中
 
（３）茶会
　日　　時：9月16日（月・祝）・9月17日（火）　各日15時～20時
　場　　所：御成座敷
　内　　容：向島百花園茶会によるお点前の披露とお抹茶の提供を行います
　　　　　　どなたでもお気軽にご参加いただける茶会です
　参 加 費：1席1,000円（入園料別途）
　定　　員：各回10名
　参加方法：14時30分～19時30分まで、御成座敷前にて受付を行います（定員に達し次第終了）
 
（４）絵行灯（えあんどん）の点灯
　日　　時：期間中毎日　17時50分～21時　※雨天中止
　内　　容：俳句・俳画の描かれた絵行灯やぼんぼりに、明かりを灯します

Admission is free for those over 60 years old during the above period.
 
Offering Ceremony
Sep. 16 (Mon.) 5:00pm-5:30 pm
An offering to the moon and Shinobue (Japanese bamboo flute) performance will take place at the wisteria trellis near the bush clover tunnel.
 
Tea Ceremony
Sep. 16 (Mon.) ･ 17 (Tue.) 3:00pm-8:00pm, 30 minutes each time
￥1,000 per seat (admission fee not included)
Reception at Onari-zashiki from 2:30pm on the day (will close when capacity is reached).
 
The 'tea ceremony’ seems intimidating. Can everyone join it?
The tea ceremony is for beginners who can experience it sitting in a chair, so you don't need to know anything about it. You can come dressed as you like, without any preparation, and experience it as a first step into a profoundly traditional culture.
 
Can we drink beer, etc.?
In the garden, shop “Sahara” sells light meals and alcohol.
 
Come and enjoy the cool of the evening.
