CONCEPT
When plants receive light, they
eventually bloom.
Flowers use their shape and color to let insects and birds know of their presence, and lure them with their
scent.
Insects and birds collect nectar and
carry pollen, then carry it to the next flower in
search of the same flower.
In this way, flowers and insects interact with each other and evolve together – they co-evolve.
Visitors can re-examine the existence of non-human beings such as flowers, light,
and insects through "play" here at Hibiya Park, a space that is open to everyone.
In this space, traces and trajectories of humans and non-humans intersect, their lines intertwining to create
all kinds of knots.
It is a place to consider "ways of gathering together with others,"
and will serve as a "rehearsal" for our responses and preparations for potential coming disasters.
