Fascinating Noryo in Edo

In the field in front of the Tatemonoen, “morning glories,” “fireworks,” “wind chimes,” and “water fans,” which symbolize summer in Edo, will be joined by fantastic lighting to create a playful Edo world.Please enjoy the cool Edo world where tradition and playfulness are blended together.

Movies and sounds of fireworks with AR

Visitors can experience the power of fireworks while preserving the serenity of the park, and using AR technology, the sound of fireworks, a symbol of summer in Japan, will echo from the night sky through your smartphone.

Fantasy Garden of Japanese Spirit and Western Sense

The Meiji period (1868-1912) was a time when Japanese and the Western crossed paths as a result of civilization's enlightenment. Flowers in bloom and retro stained-glass windows sparkle.

Taisho Showa

Time Travel Taisho Romanticism

The steam locomotive will be the centerpiece of a romantic scene from the Taisho Era (1912-1926).Steam locomotives that were active from the Meiji to Showa periods appear in the present day as if running through a field of sunflowers.

It will create a summer scene decorated with sunflowers,
inspired by the scenery of an Steam Locomotive running in service.

Illumination and artificial sunflowers make a spectacular presentation.

(30 minutes from Shinjuku Station).
・Take Seibu Bus at North Exit Bus Stop
 No.2 or No.3 and get off at “Koganei Koen Nishi Exit”
・Take a Seibu Bus bound for Mitaka Station
 at the North Exit bus stop #2 or #3 and
 get off at the Koganei Park West Exit stop.
 Get off at “Edotokyo Tatemono-en-mae”
“Koganei Koen-mae” or “Sports Center Iriguchi” bus stop.
(2)Take CoCo Bus from the North Exit
 bus stop and get off at “Koganei Koen Iriguchi”

  • Traffic congestion is common on the Itsukaichi Kaido road on weekends and public holidays. We recommend using public transportation when visiting.
  • Please refrain from waiting to enter the Koganei Park parking lot on public roads. Please note that entry may be restricted during peak congestion times.

To all visitors to the park

  • The park is a facility that is used by many people. Please use the parks in a pleasant manner and share the use of the parks with others.
  • Please take any trash you bring into the park with you. Please do not leave trash in the park or dump household garbage.
  • For those who play musical instruments. Please refrain from playing musical instruments at a volume that would disturb other patrons or residents in the neighborhood. We ask for your cooperation by using equipment to reduce the volume, and avoiding areas with people or near residences. Please refrain from playing at night.
  • Tennis wall-hitting is not allowed. There are no facilities for wall-hitting in the park. Please refrain from doing so, as it is a nuisance to other visitors and residents in the neighborhood.
  • For those who see a suspicious person. If you see anyone acting suspiciously, such as vandalism or mischief, please call 110.
